INVINCIBLE (2)

"Praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God. Pray without ceasing. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
— Jude 1:20-21; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Romans 8:35-39

The love of God is the most powerful force in the universe.

The love of Christ makes us invincible.

No external suffering, difficulties or powers can separate us from it.

But WE must keep ourselves in God's love!

We can slip out of it without noticing it.

That is the worst thing that can happen to a believer.

We must absolutely not take our love relationship with Jesus for granted!

We must keep it constantly alive.

Like a fire that is constantly being fuelled.

How do we do that?

Through unceasing prayer.

Prayer is our love-communion with Jesus.

The flame of prayer is the fire of love that must constantly be kept alive.

It is “the fire on the altar” that “shall be kept burning.”

“It shall never go out!”

As the Lord's priests, we must constantly fuel it (Lev.6:12-13).

Do you have such an altar of prayer in your life?

An altar on which you every morning let the flame of love flare up with new intensity by offering yourself anew as a sacrifice of love to the Lord?

That is the only way to victory in the battle of life.

Only the love of God makes us invincible.

The greatest battle is to keep the love-flame of victory burning constantly.

All hell rises up and tries with all its tricks and means to pull your heart away from Jesus.

The devil knows what an immense power the love of God is.

Hat is what overcame him on the cross.

Do you make sure that you defeat him with the same love?

Do you make sure that you remain in the Invincible One so that you yourself are invincible?
