Who we are

Spiritual Maturity publishes devotional teachings, daily words, and audio messages.

What personal data we process

When you browse the website, we process the technical information needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, browser request, and security/session information handled by Laravel and our hosting provider.

When you accept analytics, we keep limited first-party analytics for public page views, audio engagement, reactions, and share clicks. This includes pseudonymous visitor identifiers, page paths, track/post identifiers, language, referrer host when available, and timestamps. We do not store raw IP addresses inside analytics rows. If you reject analytics or have not made a choice yet, these first-party analytics records are not created.

If you subscribe by email, we store your email address, selected language, subscription status, confirmation/reminder timestamps, unsubscribe token, and delivery/suppression status. Transactional email is sent through Brevo, and Brevo delivery webhooks tell us whether confirmation, reminder, and Daily Word emails were delivered, bounced, complained about, or unsubscribed.

If you subscribe to the Daily Word through Telegram, we store your Telegram chat ID, selected language, subscription status, and the dates/messages needed to avoid duplicate broadcasts.

If you subscribe through WhatsApp, we store your WhatsApp phone number, subscription status, default language, and the dates/messages needed to avoid duplicate broadcasts.

Administrators may have account data such as name, email address, password hash, and two-factor authentication settings.

Why we process this data

We process this data to run the website, protect the admin area, deliver Daily Word subscriptions, remember requested language/session behavior, keep the audio player usable, troubleshoot service issues, and, when consent is given, understand which pages and audio teachings are actually being used.

Telegram, WhatsApp, and Twilio

Telegram subscriptions are handled through Telegram. WhatsApp subscriptions are handled through Twilio and WhatsApp. When you use these services, their own privacy terms also apply. We only store the identifiers needed to deliver the messages you requested.

Email and Brevo

Email subscriptions and transactional email delivery are handled through Brevo. When you subscribe by email, Brevo processes the email address and delivery metadata needed to send confirmation, reminder, unsubscribe, and Daily Word emails.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses functional cookies and browser storage as described in our Cookie Policy. First-party analytics cookies are used only after you accept analytics, and you can change that choice from the Cookie settings link in the footer. Fonts, styles, and scripts are served from our own domain, so normal browsing does not send your data to third-party asset providers.

Logs and security

We keep limited operational logs for security and reliability. Incoming webhook logs are designed to avoid storing full phone numbers, Telegram chat IDs, or message bodies in production logs.

Sale or sharing of personal information

We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep data

Subscriber data is kept while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe from Telegram or WhatsApp, your subscriber record is deleted. Operational logs and consented analytics are kept only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, service improvement, backups, and server maintenance.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data that we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from Telegram with /unsubscribe and from WhatsApp with unsubscribe, stop, or leave. You can also reopen Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics cookies. You can contact info@spiritualmaturity.nl.

Anonymous visit counts

We also keep anonymous aggregate visit counts that identify no one. These use no cookie, no IP address, and no per-visitor identifier — only a running total per day, page, country, and language. The country is derived from the network address at the moment of the request and the address itself is never stored. Because these counts are not personal data, they are kept whether or not you accept analytics.
