How do you and I become invincible?

Through the Invincible One!

But we must be born of the Invincible One to become like Him.

Are you conceived or born?

Touched or transformed?

Conception occurs in delight.

No birth without pain.

It is not enough to be touched by the Spirit of God – the crucial question is: has the Spirit of God transformed you?

It is not enough to have “received” Jesus – the crucial question is: has He become your life?

Are you born of His invincible Spirit?

Then you will live the victorious life.

But there are no shortcuts to it.

The path always goes through death and resurrection.

We must die to all of our own in order to receive all of Christ.

But we want quick fixes – immediate satisfaction.

We like to be touched by the Spirit of God, to be delighted.

But no one ‘likes’ to die – it is painful!

That is why we sacrifice the eternal on the altar of the immediate.

We are deceived by our physical senses and our incurably sick heart.

We want to get goosebumps, that which tickles our senses and gives us pleasant experiences.

But experience-centred Christians are a plaything for the powers of darkness – easily manipulated!

“We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22)

Only by going through many crises, “many tribulations” do we become full-grown people, mature Christians, who do not allow themselves to be manipulated by their “flesh”.

Invincible like the Invincible One!
