A word of encouragement for your day.
THE SUPREME AUTHORITY
"God raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet. God made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus."
The authority of the Glorified Lord, Jesus Christ, is supreme: unlimited, all-inclusive and almighty.
Through the new birth and the baptism of the Holy Spirit we have become partakers of this Highest Authority of the universe, having been united with the Risen Lord in a spirit-union of invincibility.
To have a revelation and understanding of the reality of this spirit-union with the resurrected Christ, and to apply it in daily living, is the key to a victorious Christian life.
Only so are we enabled to be what we were predestined and created to be and fulfil the special task that each one of us is eternally intended to do.
We are here to do the works of the Glorified Lord with “all power in heaven and on earth” – the “greater” works that He has prepared for us to accomplish for the establishment and furthering of His Kingdom on earth, to the glory and satisfaction of our heavenly Father.
But unless we live in this spirit-union with the Resurrected Lord, realizing and working in the tremendous powers imparted to us as individual believers, and even more as His Church, we will not be able to fulfil this impossible task. All hell raises up in resistance to obscure and diminish this great reality. Therefore, we must have a clear revelation of these tremendous facts, and constantly need to be
renewed in our minds about their meaning and reality.
