THE END-TIME CHURCH (2)
"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up."
Jesus says that the end-time church will be a missionary church like never before.
The Lord wants everyone to have the chance to repent, and finally there will be an innumerable crowd “from every nation, all the tribes, peoples and languages, standing before the throne.”
So, it is not presidents and prime ministers who decide the fate of this world, nor bombs and nuclear weapons, but the Church.
People from every nation and all tribes, peoples and languages are destined for salvation.
The whole world is destined to hear the gospel of the kingdom of God preached.
There is a kingdom that will last when all the kingdoms of the world have finally fallen, and the door to that kingdom is called the new birth.
Therefore, the gospel of the new birth must be preached throughout the world to all peoples.
There is no greater and more important task than this!
Therefore, the Holy Spirit urges all born-again people to pray and invest as never before in this most important of all missions.
Do you sense that urge?
