God is Spirit—the Absolute Person, the Divine Majesty, perfect Love and Holiness, radiant with beauty and glory.

His Spirit is the Giver of Life and the Shaper of personality.

The breath of the Almighty gives life to all things: plants, animals, and human beings. At every moment, the Creator breathes life into all living things.

When the Lord breathed the breath of life into Adam’s nostrils, he was awakened to life as a psycho-physical being.

But God had intended something infinitely greater for mankind.

The words "the Spirit of God has made me" speak of man as being a person who was created to live in a personal relationship with his Creator.

There is something in man that radically separates him from all other living beings as shown in Zechariah 12:1: "the Lord forms the spirit of man within him."

When God’s Holy Spirit unites with the human spirit in the miracle of the new birth, the inner man awakens to life, and the person is brought into a deep, intimate, and personal communion of love with God—the Father of his spirit.

We become God’s children, enjoying direct and immediate contact with Him through the Holy Spirit. Entering into this personal relationship with the Creator Himself is the greatest thing that can happen to a human being.

Deep within, we begin to sense who we truly are: persons created in God’s image and likeness, destined to radiate the same glory and beauty as the Lord—the Perfect Person.

As we continue to live in loving fellowship with the Lord—communing with Him face to face—our unique personality is gradually shaped by the Holy Spirit, and our faces begin to radiate the same glory and joy found in God.

We become increasingly authentic, free from the need to play false roles, and come to experience the greatest joy of all: being a true person.

This is the most wonderful work of the Spirit!
