FULLNESS OF JOY

"These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full."
— John 15:11

God is fullness of joy: perfect, unclouded joy.

Christ is the Manifestation of this fullness, the complete Person in “flesh and blood”: as man was meant to be, our Destiny.

Fullness of joy is being the unique person I am eternally purposed to be and fulfilling the special task I was destined and designed to perform.

The result of sin is the loss of the joy of life due to lost glory, the loss of my unique self and the real purpose of my life: an abysmal sorrow, consuming anguish and paralyzing loneliness, hell on earth.

Anxiety is man's feeling of not being in true agreement with himself: not having been, not being able to be the unique person I was meant to be, and not having been able to live the special life I should have lived, not having been able to accomplish the special task I should have fulfilled.

So, I don't know who I really am, I've never really lived my life - never been myself, never done what I should have done.

In different ways we are all stunted and broken people, like "a bent reed and a dimly burning wick.”

Jesus came to lift us up from these depths of sorrow, heal and restore us to our original purpose into the divine joy: make our life a dance again, by eradicating sin with its consequences and sating the infinite depths of our innermost being: giving us the comfort we so deeply need.

His invitation: "Come to me and drink." Drink in the divine Spirit-life for which you were created, which restores you to your true identity and redeems you to live the unique life you were meant to live and to realize your specific task in life.

This is fullness of joy!
