Live in constant communion with Jesus and cultivate a strong Christ-consciousness!

Then He becomes the Origin, the Source of everything you do.

This means He flows into you—shaping every thought, feeling, and action—and flows out through you in every smile, every word, and every small deed.

Moreover, He perfects all you do by making something great out of the smallest word or action, using it to fulfil His eternal purposes in ways you do not understand and, for the most part, do not see.

Through your very presence, He touches those around you, for He Himself dwells within you and shines forth through you.

"You were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord" says Paul, adding: "walk as children of Light." (Eph.5:8)

Become aware of who you are in Christ and let that find expression in your everyday life.

Do not try to be a light—you ARE light, a letter of Christ.

But you must constantly say no to everything that does not align with your new nature — especially to anything that disrupts your Christ-consciousness.

These might be negative and/or impure thoughts, feelings, or reactions that suddenly overcome you.

Replace them immediately with good, pure thoughts and feelings, and with loving reactions.

A good way to do this is to turn your gaze toward Jesus, thank Him for all He is within you, and let His Spirit fill you with His love, joy, peace, patience, and so on.

A major challenge is that we still possess our old bodies, with their often wrong or impure instincts and impulses.

In this regard, too, we must constantly remember that these are no longer who we ARE, but rather something we HAVE. We do not need to respond to them; instead, we must remember that we ARE spiritual beings who are fundamentally pure and holy.

Do not forget that our sometimes faltering steps in this new life are strengthened and perfected by Jesus—enabling us to live always with an intact Christ-consciousness!
