What is the only thing that matters—the most important and essential thing for time and eternity?

The glory of Jesus Christ, His glorification and exaltation.

This is the salvation and health of humanity and the universe, its lifeblood.

Everything exists for this one purpose.

The only thing that matters in your and my life as humans is that Jesus Christ is glorified in and through us, no matter what happens.

What happens to us, how we are doing and how we feel is really quite unimportant.

The universe does not revolve around us.

We are not its centre.

Christ is!

Everything revolves around Him and everything will one day be summarized in Him and placed under his dominion, placed under his feet.

We have been given a physical body for one purpose: that Christ may be made visible and glorified in and through it.

Therefore, we cannot do what we want with our body.

The body is intended to be the carrier of God's glory, His temple, the place where He lives and reveals Himself - a means to realize His purposes.

God's presence in your and my body is the only thing that matters.

"The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."

In the body of the man Jesus Christ, other people saw the glory of the Father
