REALITY ITSELF

"To the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory forever and ever, Amen. He who alone possesses immortality and dwells in an unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see."
— 1 Timothy 1:17; 6:16

God is Reality Itself, pure Existence, absolute Light, pure Love – not sense-love – it does not involve feelings – IT IS LOVE – not the feeling of it – something we cannot imagine with our natural senses, since it is totally beyond them – another reality – Reality Itself – not experienced reality.

By our natural senses we experience reality, created, visible reality – with our spirit we live in the Eternal, Invisible Reality.

For us to live in this Reality, the control of our senses on our being, all “soulishness”, must be broken so that “spirit-freedom” is established and we can “walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light”.

This is actually what Hebrews 4:12 is all about, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

We must allow God to cut away all control – of our natural senses, “soul” and our body, “joints and marrow” – over our lives, and even our deepest motivations and attitudes hidden away in our hearts.

This is a process that takes a lot of time and a brutal honesty on our part. The “unapproachable Light” has become our innermost nature and reality and the brighter our spirit-lamp shines the more stable our walk as children of Light will be.

That which blurs our spiritual vision, the domination of the visible reality and our natural senses and desires is more deeply rooted than we can ever imagine. God alone knows it and He is more determined to bring us into a consistent walk in the Spirit, than we are ourselves.

If we allow Him, God will gird us with strength, make our way blameless, make our feet like hinds’ feet, and set us upon our high places (1/.)—above the obstacles and impossibilities we face. Then we can walk in the spiritual Reality in whatever natural circumstances we have to face and always see Him seated on the Throne of the Universe in the midst of our earthly chaos.

Reality Itself can become our constant reality!
