Jesus Christ exists as the Son of God only in His relationship to His Father, totally and exclusively dependent on Him.

In other words, He has no existence apart from His Father and no other purpose of His existence than to manifest and glorify His Father, by doing His will.

I exist as a true son of man only in my relationship to Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, totally dependent on Him.

It is the independent life that is the false life.

Most Christians have never realized that this is the essence of sin and therefore have never died out of this life to be resurrected into life in union with Christ.

It is the resurrection life that is described by Jesus as “rivers of living waters” flowing out of our innermost being, i.e. our spirit, united with the resurrected Lord.

There is no resurrection without death, and no death spiritually without us consenting to it.

Without this resurrection-life relationship to the Lord, we are ‘dead’, while alive.

In other words, we have no true existence apart from our Lord and no other purpose of our existence here on earth than to manifest and glorify our Lord, by doing His will.

As true human beings, we exist only in our relationship to Jesus Christ.
