RESURRECTION LIFE (2)

"Woman, whom are you seeking? Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me!"
— John 20:15; Luke 24:5; John 20:17

Who are you looking for?

Yesterday's Christ?

He is no longer where you are looking for Him!

He has risen!

Do not seek "the Living among the dead!"

Do not try to cling to your old experiences of Christ.

Do not cling to the Christ you once knew.

He always appears in "another form" (Mark 16:12), always in a new way.

Always in a new place.

That is why there are no holy places, no pilgrimage sites for a Christian.

If you are to find the Risen Christ, you must yourself go through death and resurrection.

Your form must also change.

Only the living can see the Living One!

Only if you yourself live spiritually are you able to have fellowship with the Lord, the Spirit.

He is constantly "new" - constantly alive.

To live in constant fellowship with Him, you must live in the constantly renewing flow of the Holy Spirit.

The Resurrection Life means constant death and continuous renewal: that is the characteristic of the Spirit life.

You must constantly let go of the old to receive the new.

Stagnation is death.

The Living One is not among the dead.

The Christ you once knew is “dead” - gone.

If you are to know Him today, you must rise anew to a new day with Christ.

Is Christ alive to you?

Are you living the resurrection life?
