Christ is the man fully and completely fashioned by the Spirit.

There exists nothing more wonderful and beautiful on this earth, nowhere in the creation of God!

The highest thought and purpose of God the Father is to bring "many sons to glory" (Heb.2:10), i.e. to be transformed and conformed to the image of His Son.

That's why Jesus is asking the Father to reveal His glory to us and bring us to the place where He Himself was from eternity: the bosom of the Father.

This the place where the "metamorphosis": the transformation from one form/state of being to another can take place.

The work of the Holy Spirit is to give us an inward vision of the glorious Christ. If we have only once caught a glimpse of His glory on the mountain of transfiguration, nothing in this world matters to us any longer: we are drawn irresistibly to the Light we have seen there.

After Paul had received this inner revelation of Christ, he allowed nothing to attract and hold his mind and soul except the face of Jesus Christ.

Until the beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Image of the Invisible God, has been revealed in our innermost being, we do not know the reason and purpose of our existence.

The full revelation of the Glory of the Risen Lord, is the death-end to everything we are in ourselves and the impartation of everything that He is as the glorious, resurrected Lord.

As we continue to receive new revelations of the beauty of Jesus Christ, beholding the face of the glorified Lord, we are "transformed into His image from glory to glory", until one day when we "see Him just as He is", we will become completely "like Him", as even our physical body will radiate with the same glory as His.

God's goal must become our goal, the dream of the Father our dream: the Christ-man!
