“LIVING”!

"Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."
— John 6:57; Psalm 42:2; John 17:3

God is “the living”!

We are just alive—just existing.

When do we become “living”?

When we drink the life of “the living God.”

What kind of life is that?

“Eternal life”: the life of the Spirit, the spiritual life

Physical life is “existence-life”—temporary and mortal.

Spiritual life is absolute life, indestructible, eternal.

When do we possess that life?

When we “know the only true God—the living God.”

What does it mean to “know” Him?

Is it an intellectual knowledge?

No!

A religious sentiment?

No!

What does it mean then?

To have the same life.

When we have the life of God, we “know” God.

God is Spirit.

When we are born of the Spirit, we “know” Him in a deeply personal love-relationship.

God is Love.

To be born of God is to be born of Love.

Love has become our nature and we love the Nature of God, we love God.

When we love Him, we “know” Him.

“Eternal life” is a personal love-relationship with “the living God”.

Only he who loves the Lord God with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength lives in the true sense.

He who loves himself above all else is dead.

Self-life is death.

Self-centeredness and self-realization are the gateways of hell.

“The one whom God has sent, Jesus Christ,” came to set us free from ourselves.

When He has become our life, we have “eternal life”!

Do you “thirst” for that life?

No, not anymore, I've already drunk it.

Life-threatening!

What do you mean?

The moment you stop drinking, you start dying.

The secret of spiritual life: The more you drink, the more intense your thirst becomes – you just want more and more and more!

How long then?

As long as you live!

You only “have” eternal life as long as you drink it incessantly.

Are you doing that?

Are you “living”?
